Thousands of acres of land have been contaminated by past industrial activities. Phytoremediation is the most cost-effective and environmentally-friendly solution.

We eliminate contaminants in soil using a variety of plants.
Phytoremedia Sp. z oo is focused on the use of plants to remove pollutants from contaminated land. Through several different process, plants degrade pollutants in the soil, take them up through their roots, and volatilize the chemical constituents or retain them in their roots, stalks and leaves. Harvesting the plants removes an incremental amount of contaminants every year.
Our company designs phytoremediation projects based on the specific site contaminants and any testing of various plants and additives needed to create a viable remedial plan. We will then implement the plan ourselves on the contaminated land and monitor the progress year-to-year ..
REMEDIATION
Remediation of contaminated land by the use of plants that take up the pollutants is a very promising new approach.
Phytoremediation relies on plants that have the ability to take the pollutants out of the soil (hyper-accumulation) or volatilize the pollutants through their leaves. These plants must also tolerate growing in contaminated soil.
A variety of plants have these characteristics, depending about the contaminants and their concentration. They are harvested and re-planted as necessary until the level of contamination comes within the targeted concentrations.
PROPOSAL
Our business proposal is to use plants, including hemp, which have proven to be very effective in this application.
The company will perform a contracted service involving the cultivation, harvesting and processing of the plants. See Our Business Offer insert.
We will also look at tailoring the plants used to the soil characteristics and contaminants found at each site. Besides hemp, there are other plants that might be appropriate under some conditions.
Our company's offer
Our company will perform the task for the user:
-
Feasibility study based on field data and current relevant literature and expert analyzes;
2. Ex situ soil testing in our year-round repair lab or on-site testing as needed and in-house;
3. Development of a long-term repair plan to meet customer requirements;
This process is done as part of annual contract renewals based on the progress achieved so far. Approach may be anticipated or omitted based on the results.
